A Simple Launch Checklist for Indie Software Builders
Before you submit your product anywhere, make sure the basics are working. Small fixes can make a launch feel much more trustworthy.
Block 01
Check your homepage
Your homepage should explain what the product does, who it is for, and what action users should take next.
If the first screen is confusing, most launch traffic will not convert.
Block 02
Check your pricing and access
Users should understand whether the product is free, paid, freemium, or open source.
If there is a waitlist, demo request, or signup flow, make that clear before users click.
Block 03
Check your proof and support signals
Screenshots, docs, changelogs, contact details, and founder notes can all improve confidence.
You do not need all of them, but you do need enough for users to understand the product is real.
